Belt resolver

Machine and year in. The belt part numbers Ultimax publish for it, with the model string they published them against.

A wrong belt part number strands a rider. This one is a lookup, and it shows you the exact model string the manufacturer published each part number against so you can check it against your own machine.

Part numbers come from the Ultimax/Timken fitment guides, rebuilt from the PDF by coordinate so a shifted column cannot put you on the wrong belt.

When more than one belt comes back

That is normal and it is not a bug. Trim level and engine package decide the belt, and the fitment guide lists them as separate rows. Rather than pick one for you, the resolver prints every row with the model string as published. Match it against your sled.

How these numbers got here

This is the part of the build worth being pedantic about. The Ultimax fitment guides are PDFs, and the obvious way to read a PDF table silently shifts columns. Run pdftotext -layout over the snowmobile guide and it puts the 2025 Arctic Cat Pantera 7000 on belt 131-4442U4. The PDF says XS829.

So every row here was rebuilt from the position of each word on the page, then cross-checked against a second, independent extraction. Rows where the two methods disagree are dropped. Rows where the guide itself answers twice — Polaris 2021 850 SKS is XS801 on page 46 and XS826 on page 47 — are marked ambiguous and kept out of the catalogue entirely.

Break a new belt in

Ultimax publish a break-in procedure and it is worth the twenty minutes: gentle, varied running, no wide-open throttle and no towing, to let the belt faces seat. Skipping it is the most common reason a new belt does not last.
